The Holy Spirit is a gift from the Father: Luke 13:9-11 Luke 24:46-49 states the Holy Spirit is the Promise of the Father.  Acts 1:4-5 refers to the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:1-4 states that the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the 3rd person of the Trinity. We need to be filled with His presence, power and anointing. When a person  accepts Jesus into their hearts (John 1:12), the Holy Spirit comes in also. But as a believer, you can receive the Holy Spirit Baptism and infilling with the initial physical evidence of speaking in another language (tongues). This gift is for all who believe. Have you received the fulness of the Spirit (Acts 19:1-6)? Believe  and receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the Baptizer. Ask Him to fill you with the Spirit. Begin to praise Him and speak the language that the Spirit gives you (unknown tongue). Read 1 Corin. 12 & 14 to know how the gift of tongues operates in prayer, bless...

The spirit of anti-Christ:  1 John 2:18-29; 4:1-6; 2 John 7; 2 Thess. 2:1-17 The demon or spirit of anti-Christ is against Christ Jesus. It does not acknowledge that Jesus is the Messiah, that He is  the Son of God and that Jesus is God in the flesh (John 1:14). This spirit was in the world when Jesus came, and still is. It's main "job"  is to deceive people into believing that Jesus is not Who He said He is: The Messiah (John 4:26). It is an anti-Messiah spirit. When the physical, Devil-possessed Anti-Christ is revealed in Revelation 13 (the Beast), he will declare  himself as God.    But the Anti-Christ cannot be revealed until the Church as been removed (the Rapture). While the Holy Spirit is moving in the Church, the Anti-Christ is constrained, restrained, held back and withheld from coming into power. The Holy Spirit is greater in power than the spirit of anti-Christ. The Holy Spirit is the 3rd Person of the Trinity. The anti-Christ spirit denies th...

The Battle Belongs to the Lord:  1 Samuel 17:47 David fought Goliath in the Name of the Lord of Hosts. It wasn't just his sling shot. It was the power of God that slew Goliath. David confronted his enemy. He didn't complain to him, he slew him.  What "Goliath" is in your life? What giant are you facing? Are you facing giants of addictions, sickness, debt, enemies, etc? Come against them in Jesus' Name. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 states to cast down and demolish human reasonings and various opinions of man. Stand on God's Word and what He says. Christians are exposed to every sin that the world has access to. We may be exposed to sin, but are we opposed to it?  We have every sin at our disposal. God wants to expose sin in our lives, so we can dispose of it. Let me propose: God will expose, so we can oppose and then we can dispose. Our weapons are mighty through God. His armor is sufficient: Ephesians 6:10-18. We  are to bring into captivity everything that ...

Let us return to the Lord...Hosea 6:1-3 "Hosea" means salvation, God saves & heals. If you consented , and have chosen to leave the Lord (for whatever reason), make a choice now to return to the Lord. God wants to heal and restore you. God will revive, raise and give you life. It is good to know the Lord, and better to continue to pursue Him. We are to increase in our knowledge of God. The latter rain  is just before the harvest. It is greater than the former rain. The harvest is coming. The latter rain is falling. Be involved. Just as the morning comes, God will  continue to be faithful, good and holy. God will bless those who repent. God is pouring out His Spirit upon all flesh. Let us repent of our sins. Then we will be revived...then we will be raised...then we will live.... Jeremiah 30:20:  Your children will return to the Lord...                             Congregations will be...

Be Prepared....

#72: Everyone Has a Ministry:    1 Corin.14:26 When the Church assembles together, everyone has a ministry. While we assemble together for public worship, in one place, every Christian has a purpose. It isn't just one person that does everything. The Church is the Body of Christ. One person may have a psalm, another a doctrine, a tongue, a revelation or an interpretation. All things are to be done for edification. This prevents confusion and disorder. We need to build up and encourage others. We are many in Christ, but we are one in Christ (Romans 12:5-8). We are fellow members with one another. Let's do the ministry. Do what God has called you to do. You have a ministry. Get involved. Prayer : Father, help me to fulfill the ministry You have for me. In Jesus' Name. Amen. Application : Use the gifts of the Holy Spirit that the Lord has given you. Step out in faith. Encounter : Receive the anointing and ability to flow in the gifts of the4 Holy Spirit. ...
