In the Beginning Genesis, the first book of the Bible, written by Moses states that God (Elohim) created the heavens and the earth (1:1). Isn’t it great to know that we have a Creator! He are God’s creation. We just didn’t go from “goo, through the zoo and there was you”! We have a personal Creator who loves us. The Gospel of John states that “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God” (1:1). Jesus is the Word (John 1:14). God took on flesh! Jesus is God, in the flesh. He is real and personal. He was involved in creation (John 1:3). Jesus was in the beginning. Have you put your faith in a real, personal Creator? Trust Jesus today. Don’t just be His creation, but be part of His family. Because as many as receive Jesus become God’s children. You can be a new creation in Jesus (2Corin. 5:17). Have a new beginning (John 3:3).
