                                                              Don’t Stop Believing

 

Read: Romans 4:18-25; Genesis 17-18

God told Abraham and Sarah that they would have a baby. What was the problem? He was about 100 years old, and she was about 90 years old. But with God nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37). They had a boy and named him Isaac (which means “laughter”).

 

Against all hope and against all odds Abraham believed what God had said. What are you believing God for? Are there things and people  against your faith? Don’t stop believing!

Jesus said if you would believe, you will see the glory of God (John 11:40). Believers believe! Doubt your doubt! Trust in God to answer your prayers. Pray in faith and see God answer.

Good and Evil:  Gen. 2:8-17; 3:1-7,22-24. Adam was told not to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. His wife, Eve and himself ate from it and knew what evil was and were removed from the Garden of Eden. Ever since then,  people are searching for  their "Paradise." They are looking for a "Utopia," a "Paradise,", a "Promised Land," a "Nirvana", without God. They have their own views, religions, and theories on God , sin, Satan, Jesus,  and self.... Encounter #12 : God's Family (the Church) Matters Read: Mark: 3:31-35 Jesus' mother and His brothers were outside the house asking to see Him. Jesus had half-brothers and sisters (see Matthew 13:55,56). They didn't believe that Jesus was Messiah and Savior until after His resurrection ( John 7:5).
