Encounter #30:
Seeing More Clearly
Read: Mark 8:22-26

Jesus went back to Bethsaida the hometown of Philip, Andrew and Peter. While He was there some people brought a blind man to Jesus. The blind man was led by the hand outside of the town by Jesus. Then, Jesus spit in the blind man eyes and put His hands on him. Jesus' spittle contained the words of Jesus! The blind man saw, but he only saw men as trees walking. He wasn't focused. His sight was dim, fuzzy, distorted and unclear. Jesus laid His hands on him again. Jesus had him look up. The man's sight was completely restored now. He now saw clearly.

What was Jesus doing and teaching? Jesus' first touch was to challenge the blind man to believe for more. A second touch from Jesus resulted in a complete healing. Jesus touched you before and He will touch you again. He wants you to see more clearly. He wants your spiritual eyes to be focused on Him. Just one touch from the King can change everything!

Bring people to Jesus. Trust Jesus to heal you and others. Receive another touch from Jesus to see Him more clearly and to understand the Scriptures more better. Jesus expounded to the men on the Emmaus Road
of Himself according to Moses and the prophets and opened their understanding that they should comprehend the Scriptures (Luke 24:27,45). Jesus wants you to see Himself and the Scriptures more clearly. He has brought you out of darkness into His light. You once was blind but now you see. You can't see in the dark. Receive His touch to see again.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, open my eyes to see Jesus more clearly and to understand Your Word more clearly. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Application: As you read the Bible, the Word of God, ask Jesus to open your eyes to know it better. Allow the Holy Spirit to make Jesus real to you. Bring someone else to Jesus.

Encounter Jesus: Jesus wants to touch you again. He wants to heal and deliver you again. He wants you to see again His plans, purposes and vision for your life. Receive another touch from Jesus now.
